Marching Band & Color Guard Fall 2024 is in full swing!

Come support the students at home football games as they showcase this year's show.

The show will be performed throughout the Bay Area and California at Competitions.

Marching Band is a Fall Semester after school program and is open to all instrumentalists/color guard who are interested in being a part of this team. Students in 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade have the opportunity to earn PE Credit, once the prerequisites are met. The Marching Band competes throughout California in Western Band Association Events in October-November. This year, they have placed 1st place in 2 out of 3 competitions.  They were also awarded 3rd Place and $4,000 at the 2022, 2023, and 2024 Fleet Week Band Challenge in San Francisco and have been invited to march down Main St. in Disneyland in December of this year.

Volunteer Registration

All SMMA volunteers are required to be finger printed and have background checks run by MHUSD. Use this volunteer registration form to apply and register. Once you are cleared you will be issued a photo ID by the district.

Marching Band Packet

Use the link below to download the 2022 Sobrato Marching Band Packet. You must complete one Band Packet per student and Pages 7-14 must be signed and returned with your registration payment in full by the indicated due date.
